The Foundation in Northern Ireland |
The Roofie Foundation, Britains only specialist agency operating in the area of Drug Rape, is delighted to announce the formation of a Northern Irish branch of the Foundation. This new branch will be run in conjunction with the Rape Crisis & Sexual Abuse Centre (Northern Ireland).
The need for specialised advice in the area of drug rape and sexual abuse has been clearly identified by a number of women's groups and other specialist agencies operating in Northern Ireland. With the formation of the new Northern Ireland Government, it is felt that the establishment of this new branch of the Foundation will enable workers in the field to operate more successfully in helping Northern Ireland address the issue and combat the growing menace of Drug Rape.
