Jim Campbell is a former Home Office Forensic Scientist, and was trained as an analytical chemist and toxicologist in criminalistics and drug abuse. After graduating with an honours metallurgy degree in 1974, Jim accepted a laboratory position at a major manufacturer of power stations and later became the company's Chief Metallurgist. Since 1991 he has been the founder and MD of SSD, an independent forensic science laboratory. Surescreen, the biological arm of the business, was established 1996 and has become recognised as one of Britain's leading drug and alcohol testing companies. Jim has over 30 years experience in drug screening and acts as an expert witness in drug related cases. SureScreen also deals in other medical products and is a leader in the laboratory determination of a range of medical assays.
